Due to the rapid increase of our student body, we are currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions listed below.

 

Foreign Academic Coordinator/Teacher

Academic Coordinator Duty (50%)

Leadership 

 

• Monitor the proper implementation of the school’s Early Years and Primary curriculum.

• Participate in student recruitment, selection, placement and academic advising to students and faculty.

• Plan, implement and monitor field work components of programs.

• Coordinate program team activities and provide an orientation and curriculum consultation to full-time and part-time faculty.

Planning

• Advise the Principal on emerging trends in program curricula and on implementation strategies for curriculum revision.

• Review with the Principal all matters relating to coordinating activities.

• Provide input to timetabling decisions and preparation.

• Develop and maintain statistical records on program and/or course activities within his/her jurisdiction and to analyze results as required.

• Identify the need for, and to recommend requirements for, facilities, equipment, supplies and maintenance of resources.

• Advise the Principal regarding budget decisions affecting program curriculum and design

Evaluation

• Coordinate the evaluation of student progress, including recommendations regarding completion, graduation and registration status.

• Evaluate qualifications of student applicants, as requested, and to make recommendations regarding their suitability for admission or re-admission to a program of study

• Participate as a resource person in formal program reviews.

 

Teaching Duty (50%)

 

• Deliver engaging, student centered lessons.

• Align lesson planning to grade and subject specific learning outcomes.

• Prepare lesson plans utilizing a variety of teaching resources and methodologies.

• Differentiate instruction based on both formative and summative assessment of individual students’ learning needs.

• Use ICT resources during instruction.

• Follow the school’s Health and Safety Policy.

• Participate in school related events as necessary.

• Effectively manage student behavior according to school policies.

Requirements

 

• Valid teaching license from country of origin or MA in Teaching / Education. 

• One to three year experience as a department head, academic coordinator or head teacher in an international school.

• Three verifiable references.

• Native English fluency. 

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work alone and in a team.

• Sensitivity to and respect of cultural differences.

• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 

Early Years and Primary Foreign Teachers

Duties

 

• Deliver engaging, student centered lessons.

• Align lesson planning to grade and subject specific learning outcomes.

• Prepare lesson plans utilizing a variety of teaching resources and methodologies.

• Differentiate instruction based on both formative and summative assessment of individual students’ learning needs.

• Use ICT resources during instruction.

• Follow the school’s Health and Safety Policy.

• Participate in school related events as necessary.

• Effectively manage student behavior according to school policies.

Requirements

 

• BA in Education or BA with a postgraduate diploma in education. Candidates with an MA in Teaching or an MA in Education will be given priority.

• One to three years teaching experience in an international school. Newly qualified teachers will be considered in exceptional cases.

• Two verifiable references.

• Native English fluency. 

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work alone and in a team.

• Sensitivity to and respect of cultural differences.

• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 

Khmer Early Years and Primary Teaching Assistants 

Duties

 

• Provide support to children with mathematics, reading and writing on an individual, class or small group basis

• Give extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language

• Help develop programs of learning activities and adapt appropriate materials as necessary

• Motivate and encourage pupils

• Assist with marking and correcting work

• Attend meetings and reviews

• Translate in teacher-parent conferences

• Help with school events, trips and activities

Requirements

 

• BA in Education or BA with a teaching qualification

• At least one year teaching experience

• Upper intermediate to advanced English proficiency

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Willingness to adapt and learn

• Genuine concern for the well-being and development of children

• Females are encouraged to apply

 

Khmer PE/Swimming Teacher

Duties

 

• Teach or coach one-to-one or in groups

• Plan and deliver sessions appropriate to the level of swimmers

• Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques

• Correct faults in swimming techniques and identify ways to improve performance

• Make sure safety standards are followed

• Check that life-saving equipment is in full working order

• Organize and supervise assistants and helpers

• Deal with minor injuries and accidents

Requirements

 

• BA in Physical Education or BA with a physical education qualification

• Swimming coach license or certificate

• At least one year experience

• Upper intermediate to advanced English proficiency

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Genuine concern for the well-being and development of children

 

Khmer Secretary

Duties

 

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the principal, vice principal and teaching staff as directed

• Ensure that the school operates in a consistently organized manner every day

• Act as liaison between the community, the school and other internal and external stakeholders

• Coordinate appropriate documents for communication with the district office

• Maintain all recordkeeping for students and staff

• Maintain student and staff confidentiality in all circumstances

• Track attendance and absences; use reporting software and generate reports for internal and external use

• Use common computer hardware and software with facility and under pressure

• Perform general office duties such as answering telephone inquiries, filing, mail, spreadsheets, and journal entries on a daily basis

• Provide services for teachers, administrators and students like typing, proofreading, editing, processing daily mail

• Compose and typeset correspondence and newsletters

• Maintain the integrity of information systems, databases, and office files

• Prepare and circulate curriculum documents

• Book rooms and meeting resources and consumables

• Coordinate internal and external meetings appointments, events, workshops, seminars and special events

• Maintain records with a high degree of accuracy

• Direct a team with facility and courtesy

• Work with frequent interruptions

Requirements

 

• BA/BS in a related field

• At least one year secretarial experience

• Upper intermediate to advanced English proficiency

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to work under pressure

• Genuine concern for the well-being and development of children
